Audio Data from the Desktop Application
Our desktop application captures audio from your microphone and system output during active call sessions to power real-time AI responses. This audio is processed transiently via Deepgram for speech-to-text conversion and is not stored on our servers after transcription. Transcripts may be retained as part of your session history and can be deleted at any time from your dashboard.
You must obtain all necessary consents from other parties on your calls before enabling WizzX audio capture, as required by applicable recording consent laws in your jurisdiction.
Google API
Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2. How Do We Process Your Information?
We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

3. Legal Bases for Processing
We process your personal information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so. Depending on your jurisdiction, we may rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent. Where you have given us permission to use your personal information for a specific purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Performance of a Contract. Where processing is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations to you, including providing the Services.
- Legitimate Interests. Where processing serves our legitimate business interests (e.g., security, fraud prevention, improving the Services), provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal Obligations. Where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom (UK), the above bases apply under the GDPR and UK GDPR respectively.
6. Artificial Intelligence Features
WizzX is an AI-powered platform. Our core features — real-time answer generation, knowledge base retrieval, and call intelligence — are powered by third-party AI service providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Deepgram.
When you use AI features:
- Call audio is transcribed in real time via Deepgram and is not persistently stored by WizzX after transcription.
- Queries and relevant knowledge base content are sent to OpenAI or Anthropic to generate answers.
- We do not use your personal data or call content to train AI models.
You must not use WizzX AI features in any way that violates the terms or policies of any AI service provider, or applicable laws regarding recording and consent.
8. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. We may also retain information as required by applicable law (e.g., tax and accounting requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not immediately possible (e.g., data stored in backup archives), we will isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
You may delete your account and associated data at any time from your dashboard settings.
9. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission over HTTPS/TLS
- Row-level security on our database via Supabase
- Role-based access controls within the platform
- Regular security reviews
However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed 100% secure. While we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized parties will never be able to access it. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk.

12. Do-Not-Track Signals
Most web browsers include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. Because no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.
13. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Services. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
